Charlestown Netball held their Annual All Age Carnival on Sunday, it was a huge success. 14th July 2011. Congratulations to Maddie Taylor (Central) and Sabina Gomboso (Ninjas) on their selection into the Netball NSW Tall Players program. Well done ladies!! The Babble clinic was held today and we had over 80 girls, it was great. 7th July 2011. Congratulations to all our players, coaches, managers, umpires and officials who attended the Netball NSW State Age Championships over the weekend. A special congratulations to our U/13's team who went through the weekend undefeated and are now State Age Champions! The team consisted of Minerva Bailey, India Bignall, Zoe Harrison, Tiu Holland, Imogen Jaeger, Lauren Jones, Sarah-Jane Lang, Tamara Mullard and Sarah Timbs with Coach Rochelle Wallis and Manager Glenda Geyer. Well done to the U/15's who came 3rd, U/14's came 8th and U/12's came 10th - a great effort by everyone. A big thanks to our Umpires - Kellee Agland, Penny Hoey, Keren Lambret, Yvonne Webster and Lesley Worthington. 7th July 2011. Athletes are asked to complete their registration between 9:30am and 9:45am. Clinics begin at 9:45am sharp with an introduction. When you arrive at the clinic, line up and have your name marked off and receive your name sticker. A whistle will blow at 9:45am to start the day. 14th June 2011. The association is very proud of you all and the great results you all achieved. Special congratulations to the Opens team who won the Country Cup for being the top team outside of the Sydney Metropolitan area. The Association will select 20 players and give these players the opportunity to be coached at a higher level. The two teams selected will attend a training session once a week for 10 weeks and go to three local carnivals, one at Newcastle on the 22nd May, one at Port Stephens on the 17th July and finish at the Charlestown Carnival on 31 July 2011. 28th February 2011.
