Twilight Competition begins on Monday 11 October with Juniors/Intermediates playing at 6:30pm and Seniors playing at 7:45pm each week, competition concludes on Monday 29 November 2010. The twilight draw and results can be viewed on the Competition Results link on the left hand side of the page. Congratulations to Kristen Weaver, the coach of our U/14's Representative team, who represented NSW in the National Indoor Championships. NSW won the Championships. Hunter Academy Trials 2010 Friday, August 27, 2010 
15 YEARS NETBALL SELECTION TRIAL- 2010 to be held at the Newcastle Netball Association’s Courts, National Park, Newcastle (off Union Street) 5.00pm to 8.30pm on Friday 27 August 2010. Notes For the Selection Trial on 27 August 2010. 1. a) There will be a registration fee of $15.00 to be forwarded with the application form. b) Girls should arrive at 4.30pm for registration/warm up for a 5.00pm start to conclude at approx 8.30pm. c) Canteen facilities WILL be available. d) Each triallist is required to bring a netball-clearly marked, and to wear a netball skirt/dress. e) Applications are to be endorsed by the players’ associations secretaries, and returned with the registration fee to the Hunter Academy of Sport Office by Friday 20 August 2010. 2. All girls eligible who forward application forms should automatically attend the selection trial 3. All triallists will be advised of the selection details via mail after the selection trial. Sunday 18 July is our washed out game day. With Monday's night games being washed out, we will play two games on Sunday 18 July. Please note we will commence play at 10:00am. IT WILL BE 'UMPIRE YOUR OWN GAME' format for the day. At 10:00 am we will play: Round 7's - 11:00am and 12:30pm time slots At 11:30 am we will play Round 7's - 2:00pm and 3:30pm time slots At 1:00 pm we will play Round 8's - 11:00am and 12:30pm time slots At 2:30 pm we will play Round 8's - 2:00pm and 3:30pm time slots MODIFIED TEAMS DO NOT PLAY WASHED OUT GAMES Let's hope for good weather. ☄ ☄ ☄ 2010 State Age Championships - July 3, 4, 5 The Hunter region will have the honour of hosting this historic event with over 300 teams expected to make their way to the Hunter to compete. The Association would like to wish all teams the very best of luck for the coming weekend. We have our 12's, 13's and 14's playing at Maitland and the 15's playing in Newcastle. Top of page 2010 HOLDEN State Championships - June 12, 13 and 14 Hosted by Campbelltown Netball Association - Coronation Park, Minto NSW. Congratulations to our Opens Team who not only came runners up in the NSW State Championships but also won for the second successive year the Pat Weston trophy, a magnificent effort. 
Our great players were Kelly Adamson, Claire Brennan, Jessica Dorn, Kristie Manton, Jessie Mitchell, Rian O'Hara, Jenna Paton, Kimberley Ridgeway, Amie Ryan and Kristen Weaver well lead by Coach Rochelle Dooley and Manager Roz Richards.Our U/21's team came equal 7th - players Ashton Carey, Ellie Collins, Kate Collins, Sara Gilbert, Teanna Le Sage, Dominique Potter, Samantha Smit, Jaye Sunerton, Emily Van Egmond, Laura Van Egmond, Coach Debbie Cowburn and Manager Robyn Price. Our U/17's team put in some great performances - players Nicole Auis, Sophie Baber, Sophie Cole, Melanie Cook, Tiffany Cook, Elly Davis, Bronte Magin, Georgia McVey, Vivien Palmer, Carly Robards, Coach Kelly Agland and Manager Sharon Atkins. The sportsmanship from all our teams both on and off the court make Charlestown Netball very proud of its players. Our thanks goes to all the coaches, managers, umpires, sport therapists, players, parents and officials. Well done everyone and thank you. 2nd June 2010. Round 7 (the first washed out day) will be played on Sunday 18 July, the same times and conditions as Saturdays, with umpiring the opposite timeslot to when you play. Round 8 will be played on Monday night June 21 - there will be two time slots and it will be umpire your own game for this one time. At 6:30pm, the 11:00 and 12:30 Saturday timeslots will be played and at 7:45pm, the 2:00 and 3:30 timeslots will be played. Modifieds do not play washed out games. If we get washed out this weekend (Round 9) and that could be most likely, then keep June 28 free and we will play under the same conditions as Round 8. ========== 23 May 2010.
